The starting point

Where the client was

  1. 1Paid content had to stay paid: guests see previews, members see everything, in German, Russian and English.
  2. 2Membership had to be bought online, with no account created until the payment is confirmed.
  3. 3Members needed a catalogue of vetted partner specialists and a way to book consultations.
  4. 4The club's own team had to run articles, news, partners and appointments without developers.
  5. 5The platform had to be ready for the club's anniversary evening on 19 September 2026.
  6. 6One backend had to serve the website now and a mobile app later.

How the programme ran

7 phases, ~7 weeks

1

Business analysis

Working sessions with the client from July to early September 2026: a permissions matrix for seven roles, requirements for the knowledge base, news and partners sections, and 100 user stories traced through to the code.

2

Design

An approved clickable prototype and the CLUB ALL IN design system in the club's black-and-gold identity, so every later screen was built from the same tokens and components.

3

Platform build

A Next.js frontend in German, Russian and English, and a Java / Spring Boot backend of nine deployable services: API gateway, configuration and discovery servers, plus identity, subscription, content, media, appointment and notification services, each with its own PostgreSQL database.

4

Paywall and payments

Premium membership on Stripe Checkout, Billing and webhooks. Previews and full articles are stored and served separately, so the full text never leaves the database for a guest; registration creates the account only after Stripe confirms payment.

5

Admin panel

23 pages for the club team: articles and step-by-step scenarios, news, partners, availability and appointments, subscriptions, users, notifications and an audit log.

6

DevOps and quality

Azure hosting with Docker, pipelines that promote to production only a commit already verified on DEV, health checks and rollback by commit, Prometheus, Loki and Grafana monitoring. A ≥80% coverage gate, static and security analysis and about 1,100 automated backend tests on every build — the safety net that let a small team working with an AI coding assistant move fast without breaking things.

7

Launch and support

Production launch on 16 September 2026, presented at the club's anniversary evening on 19 September to about 250 guests. Stage 2 — the scenario-based knowledge base, events, the members' cabinet and the mobile app — continues under a support agreement.

  • The club team runs content, partners and appointments through a 23-page admin panel, without developers.
  • One backend ready to serve the mobile app planned for Stage 2.
